House of Paper at FWB Festival

CTHDRL presented House of Paper at FWB Festival, a multi-part activation exploring themes of the obscure through language, ritual, and collective participation. The experience opened with The Obscura, where guests selected words pulled from books of their choosing to compose original poems, which were translated through AI and touchscreen interaction into generative imagery. These visuals were projected onto dual scrims, allowing text and image to surface and dissolve in real time. Passing through The Obscura, guests entered The Library, an intimate program space hosting scheduled speakers and concluding with a guided death visualization meditation, bringing the activation to a reflective close rooted in curiosity, impermanence, and shared inquiry.
